Holiday Buys

I’m starting to have a thing for all that is floral, must be my hispter-ish side wanting to take over! HAHA

So many glasses! I just can’t resist glasses that have awesomesauce written all over them. I just can’t! It’s just sad though ‘cause I can hardly wear them. I mean, whoever wears shades during winter?

More tops and necklaces! Scored that feather necklace on sale at Dorothy Perkins! So purdy!

Green Nautical shorts which will have to wait till summer for me to pull off!

And then skinnies because they’re the easiest to wear and match up with something. Plus I can always just wear ‘em with my chucks!

Bought this dress from the market! Yes, the market. The stall I got it from had really amazing clothes which were much much more affordable than highstreet labels. Just sayin’.

Another pair of floral tights, and some rings I bought for myself. Heee!
Just to clarify things though, it may seem like I’m a big spender and I buy loads of random stuff but I actually am not. I usually just shop when sales are on and refuse to buy any garment/shoe that is over £20. I also hardly ever shop at highstreet retailers only because a lot of the items are overpriced and to think that I can get them for much much much much much less at charity shops, carboots and ebay. So yea, now you know. Keep thriftin’! ♥
Posting this because I might not use it anymore. I don’t really know why I still made it even though I already had a title page for my photobook. My brain refuses to function when I’m bored hence the random production of things. Ha! By the way, this was inspired by/semi-copied from one of kaloibibbo’s (http://kaloibibbo.tumblr.com/) posts. Check the guy out! He’s womazing! Just sayin’.
Paper Cutting
I just wanted to show you guys the pages from the craft book my Nan gave me. They’re all so cute!

I personally love the candle holders. I think they’re really cute! So yea, this is really just a quick post of eye-pleasing stuff! ♥
Good Ol’ Pressies
I just want to share some of the stuff I got last Christmas as well as my thoughts on ‘em.

Nan got me some ‘smellies’ as she would call it. Ha! She prolly thinks I stink. lol

She also got me this art/craft book full of awesomesauce. Paper craft/cutting is not something I do a lot, only ‘cause I’m a bit crushed with time but I’ll try it out, soon enough. Heh! Oh, and wait for my next post, I’ll show you some of its pages. So cute!

Mom and Dad got me these series, The Millenium Trilogy, by a Swedish writer, Stieg Larsson, who died right after he submitted his manuscripts to his publicist. Apparently, these are books you ought to read before you die. I don’t know what to think just yet since I was never really a fan of crime fiction novels but there’s something about these three that’s really making me want to read ‘em. It’s prolly the sudden death of the writer and how unfortunate he is, as not to see the success of his debut and how big its become. I’ll do a post once I finish reading ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ then tell you what I think. Ayt?

Moving on, I also got some sweets and chocolates. Yuss, Mom bought me a Ferrero mix - Rocher, Rondnoir and Rafaello. I haven’t tried Rafaello before so that’s something to look forward to. ~hee!

Mom got my sister and I different coloured leggings, I got the grey one. Then Nan bought me some shimmering tights and a beanie covered with sequins. Can I just say? My-oh-my, I’ll be doing a Michael Jackson if I ever wear them both togethurr plus pair them with a military jacket and brogues. HAHA!

The best gift I got were these pair of brogues, military green with lace for the win! I am officially a happy bunny! My sister actually chose them but my mom paid for it so yea! Thanks much! I love you both!

My sister knows me so well! She got me loads of necklaces which is so nice of her! Thanks again! Although, mom got me that bulb necklace which in fact, actually lights up! Srsly. It’s the epitome of awesome! ~lulzwhuut?

Besides the necklaces, Mariel, my sister, also got me rings. I know right? So purdy! I am one lucky sister. I love you!
Lastly, Dad gave me some money which I used for the boxing day sales. Hee! So proud of myself ‘cause I was able to use it wisely. Hoho! Simple things do make me happy. And I really appreciate it because it takes a lot for people to really know you and actually even bother to get you something that’ll put a smile on your face. ~hee! Oh, did I mention, I actually had a tantrum on Christmas Eve that continued on early Christmas morning hence the reason I don’t have Christmas photographs. It was totally uncalled for. T’was still a nice Christmas though, had a nice dinner with the fam, watched a film and yea, had a great time. =) I can be really nowty at times but after what happened, I told myself, I’d try my hardest to be more positive this year and be as cheerful as I can. I hope y’all guys will too! All the best for 2k11 folks! ♥
When the unknown tells you to stop, will you?
Jolly Season

Christmas in a few hours people! Have a good one! ♥
Look at what I woke up to yesterday, surreal view from our window. ♥
Wrapped 27 gifts last Saturday with newspapers and magazines. ~HAHA! It took me a little over 4 hours to do all ‘em. The idea’s from Saab Magalona, I just knew I had to do it when I saw her twitpic of newspaper-wrapped presents. So different! And yes, I think it’s hella cool plus less expenses too! ^__~ My mom wasn’t amused of it though and dad thought it was funny. But nonetheless, this is the first time I ever bothered to actually buy and wrap presents. 5 days till Christmas y’all! ♥
I had a photoshoot last Saturday and as usual, I only prepared my equipment/stuff/props last minute meaning 5 minutes before leaving the house. ~lulz I brought four SLR film cameras but only ended up using three because it was too cold for us to keep shooting. It was -3 degrees celsius outside and there was over 6 inches of snow everywhere. The location was at this forest and you can just imagine how surreal and beautiful it looked, more like Narnia-ish. ^__~ Unfortunately though, my models and I had temporary hypothermia towards the end of the shoot. BRRR! I couldn’t even rotate the focus ring anymore so I knew we all had to call it a day already. =( But luckily, I was able to take some awesome photographs which I can’t wait to post-process. ~eeep! Oh and did I mention how I fell in a ditch because I was too caught up with the scenery plus my photographer self? I know right? So stupid. ~HAHA!
Oh and asdfghjkl! Gaaah, I kept taking shots with my Praktica MTL5B like there was no tomorrow. Then I started to wonder why I had loads of shots because I’m most definitely sure I was only limited to a couple dozen clicks at most. I bet the film was already used up, I just didn’t know that it was. I wonder why the wind lever still kept winding? Anyone know why? If it was used up, that’ll be the second time I had no indication of it. The first was about a couple months ago when it also had a black and white film in it. It was also the first time I ever used that camera. I took over 30 shots but after I developed it, I realized it was a 12 exp film. See, I don’t really know what exp my black and white films are because I get them from college and they just mix ‘em up in a box in film casettes so you basically get what you get. =| It’s really disappointing but I hope I still get decent pictures after I’ve developed it. *sigh
Ah well! Besides that, I also took film photos with my Zenit-B and Dacora Dignette then digital ones with my kit. I really couldn’t be any happier with the digital shots because the 50mm f/1.8 prime really delivered. Having said that, the shoot was hella fun, exciting and different. I only wish it wasn’t as cold but nevertheless, I can’t wait till my next shoot! ♥
Attempted to do my Christmas shopping tonight but all I saw were stuff I wanted for myself. =| Glad I was able to buy presents for my sister though. However, I also ended up spending £££ on personal gifts. Super fail. -_- I must try again tomorrow.
It started snowing this afternoon whilst I was on the way home from college. I got really excited over it. ~eeep ^__^ It’s ‘cause I really want another white Christmas this year. It’ll make up for all the Christmas parties, exchange gifts and Noche Buenas I’ve missed since I left RP. 9 days till Christmas y’all! Oh and yes, we do have a real actual living Christmas tree in our front garden. ~hee ♥
Photography and Art is my Love Life.
Why? Just why do I find myself talking to guys who are so lame when it comes to love? This random person actually thinks he’s inlove and when in fact, he isn’t even allowed to drink or vote yet. Why does he feel the need to tell people about his mishaps on women when he’s barely kissed a girl? Then he tells me, he’s with a girl whom he is simply using to pass time with until the girl of his dreams becomes available. What the utter fuck? I know right, what a douche! No wonder, a hell of a lot of girls end up playing the same game that only men used to play. Tss. -_-
Some guys especially teenagers have completely no idea what love or how falling inlove is like. Just ‘cause you admire someone, doesn’t mean you’re “inlove”. For all I know, you’re more inlove with the idea of a perfect relationship than the actual person. Get a life! I mean, if you’re lucky enough to be with a person whom you like/love then lucky you. Treasure what you have and stay happy! But if not, can you seriously just please focus your energy and time on something worthwhile? I don’t know, maybe studying is a good idea? Or at least stop saying hello to people online and suddenly opening up to them like they’re your bestfriends. Geeeez! I try to keep my cool and have common courtesy at all times but DAMN! I really can’t help my annoyance when people don’t understand a word I’m saying and they always think they’re right when they’re so not.
I wish kids would realize that love isn’t an accesory, that it isn’t a trend.
It snowed for a bit last wednesday. It’s such a great way to welcome the first day of December, eh? Oh, and yea, 20 days till Christmas! ~eeep! ^___^
